Okay now we know a little bit about what food freedom is, but WHY did I feel so called to create the Embodied Food Freedom group coaching program?
I created this program for all the lovely souls out there, just like you, who are struggling in their relationship with food. Folks who feel defeated by the struggles of binge eating, overeating, and emotional eating. I made this program so that you no longer have to let food stress cloud the wonderful experiences of this life!
Many years ago, I was in the same (well, similar, because we’re all unique) place as you!
Bag of chocolate covered almonds in one hand, phone in the other. I frantically Googled “how do I stop binge eating?” as the tears rolled down my face.
I felt like I’d never escape that dreaded binge-restrict cycle.
I felt like I’d never ever be able to feel at peace with and in control around food.
It stayed like this for years. It never felt like the “right time” to reach out for help. Heck, I didn’t even know I needed support at the time. But I SOO wish I reached out sooner and didn’t have to struggle with food for so long.
Flash forward to today – I healed my own relationship with food and body many years ago now.
It was possible after all, even though I felt like it would never happen. And now using my own personal experience and expertise as a Registered Dietitian & Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor, I help women just like you do the same.
As for Embodied Food Freedom, this program was truly created from the bottom of my heart. Maybe we could call it a ‘souls calling,’ if you know what I mean!
I worked with many 1-on-1 clients on improving their relationship with food and their bodies. And I noticed that almost all of them felt ‘alone’ on this journey. Even though they felt so seen, understood, and validated by me as their coach who GETS IT too, they still felt a little lonely on their journeys.
So, Embodied Food Freedom was born!
I just knew I had to create a space where women just like you, with similar food and body struggles, could come together to feel seen, understood, part of a community, and truly lift each other up.
And now after facilitating many cohorts of this program already, I can confidently say that this is exactly what the women inside of the Embodied Food Freedom group coaching program do – support each other, hold space for one another, learn from each other, and lift each other up.
You might be thinking “Well Jenn, why would this work? I’ve tried to listen to my hunger & fullness and ‘eat intuitively’ and it just lands me with the spoon hitting the bottom of the ice cream pint time and time again.”
Maybe you feel like you’ve ‘tried all the things’ – dieting, clean eating plans, forcing willpower onto yourself, bringing all the ‘junk’ foods into the house, and forbidding them from the house to reduce temptation… But none of it ever sticks. None of it ever works.
You end right back up bingeing, feeling guilty, eating your emotions, being out of touch with your body, and wishing you could just change it all.
These techniques you’ve tried to stop your bingeing (whether helpful or not), probably have been missing support & a step-by-step process. Without having these foundational pieces, it becomes really difficult to actually find success.
